Beaver Lodge Forest Lands

This week on Vancouver Island Vision, we bring you to the beautiful Beaver Lodge Forest Lands. You can find Beaver Lodge Lands in the middle of Campbell River with many access points along Dogwood, Rockland, McPhedran, and Trask Rd to name a few. In 1931, the 1,028 acres of land was donated to the province of British Columbia by the Elk River Timber Company. The land was given in trust to be used for experimental work towards forest management. In the forest lands you can find species such a Douglas Fir, Red Alder, Maple, Hemlock and so much more. Beaver Lodge Lands is also frequented by black tail deer, cougars, black bear, eagles, owls, many neighbourhood dogs and more.
