Oyster River Potholes

As we know, summer is quickly coming to an end as the leaves change and the temperatures drop. If an opportunity opens to explore one more swimming hole before the season is over, the Oyster River Potholes are a must see! With some of the clearest water you’ll experience, this North Island secret is one worth sharing!

Location: Head North towards Campbell River on the Inland Island Highway. Drive until you see a bridge that goes over the Oyster River – The bridge will have a sign saying “Oyster River”. Park on the North side of the bridge. You will see a trail with an animal gate that leads down to the river. Follow the trail until you see the river!
