Wanting to explore a new island but don’t want to travel too far? Check out Quadra Island by a quick trip on a BC Ferries boat! As part of the Discovery Island, Quadra holds an annual population of around 2,500 people fluctuating throughout the seasons.
There are 310 square kilometers of native heritage, with a rich fishing culture along with tons or artisan shops and venues to enjoy. During the summer, the tourism industry booms ending with the annual festival Quadrapalooza!
With tons to see like the Rebecca Spit Provincial Park, you can explore walking trails and miles of beach access. And be sure to check out the Heriot Bay Inn, or as the locals call it, the HBI for great food, drinks and live entertainment!
